ACTIVITIES and EVENTS
At least one weekend a month we’re camping, hiking, fishing, canoeing, bicycling, skiing, sledding, or touring some cool place. We also take part in numerous service projects throughout the year to give back to our community. In the summertime, we head to someplace special for a week of summer camp. Our camping trips and outings have included Resica Falls, Penns' Cave, Seven Mountains Camp, United States Naval Academy, Camp Jarvis, Coast Guard Station Cape May, Deep Sea Fishing, Washington DC Historic Hikes, Gettysburg Battlefield Camp, Valley Forge camping, Treasure Island and many more.
In addition to assisting our fellow scouts with their Eagle Scout projects, the troop participates in the USMC Toys for Tots, Scouting Against Hunger, Wreaths Across America at Washington Crossing National Cemetery, Huntingdon Valley Memorial Day Oberservence, and volunteer work at local VFW posts, places of worship, and schools. Our mission is to make a difference in the community, nation, and world. One scout can make a difference. A troop, working together, is an amazing force of good.
